Back in 2001, before there was a Twilight series, there was another set of vampire books, this one focusing on blood suckers in the deep south. Since Stephanie Meyer hadn't yet ruined the genre, this series focused on the things vampires ought to do, have sex with people and drink their blood.
Dead Until Dark is the first book in that series, and bloody sex is pretty much the only thing that happens. Vampires drink people blood, people drink vampire blood, vampires drink Japanese bottled blood, and everybody has sex with everybody else. All the while, there is a serial killer running around murdering waitresses. It's like a classic whodunit, if nobody really cared who dun it, but instead focused on fucking and exsanguinating each other.

Bill becomes like ten times more of an asshole and Sookie just sort of gets more brainless (and is part fairy for some reason! Yeah, it didn't make much more sense in the book either) Alex, you may interested to know that snickers salad actually does exist, although it's probably not what you imagine it to be (and it may not be very appealing, since I think you've mentioned on several occasions that fruit is the bane of your existence): http://www.food.com/recipe/snickers-salad-62855Though I tend to agree with you on most points in your review, I rather enjoyed this book. And though the exsanguination is descriptive and plentiful, I found the fucking to be less than gratifying. I understand that the leaving a bit to the imagination is highly valued, but it seemed more like it was originally a bunch of hot scenes that got edited for network television. I have heard that in future books, the sex gets hotter, but most people stick around to see the characters develop. Peace out!So, what u with the episode?why cany I hear it? BTW I don't have itunes.
