RiaW #17: The Vampire Diaries Episodes 1 & 2

MP3

To warm us up for our return to Twilight, we checked out The Vampire Diaries on CW. It was probably less miserable than Twilight, what with there being sex and all, but the trend of emo vampires is regrettable.

Your Summary-Intern didn’t get her first name mentioned and is now going to have a hard time convincing the 300 cousins on fb who’ve never heard her voice that it’s her. I’d better get a cake at the end of this internship a la The Office 😛

  2. Ezra says:

Catastrophic oversight. It will be remedied.

  3. Alex Falcone says:

Although Ezra has been good enough to remedy the situation, I just want to point out in my defense that our Summar-y Intern didn’t mention her own name anywhere on the call.

  4. Alex Falcone says:

Which is not in any way to reduce the amount we appreciate said Intern.

  5. Lex says:

Not sure if you know, but according to a friend of mine who is a fan of this show, The Vampire Diaries actually IS a book series. And apparently it was written before Twilight. And is better. Which isn’t really saying much, but ah, to each his own.http://en.wikipedia.org/wik

I think I did know about it being a book series, but the show definitely didn’t sell me on the books!

  7. Andrea says:

The summary-intern told Ezra that it was her and didn’t want to leave her name on the msg so she would make it easier for you to edit. I suffered for that summary, the suffering! 😛 I did say it was a book series in my summary! Bad Lexi, bad! 😛

Oh! So sorry, summary-intern Andrea. =( I must not have heard that part. But props to you, for mentioning that it is a book series. *thumbs up*
