We decided to kick off Dwayne “The Rocktober” Johnstober (AKA #TheRocktober) with one of his jungly-er movies. The Rundown, which had the working title “Welcome To The Jungle”, is about The Rock punching people. Just like everything else he does.

This time The Rock has to punch people in Brazil to bring back painfully unfunny Sean William Scott. He punches people, monkeys, and a brick pillar. Even Christopher Walken can’t stop him; that’s how powerful our buddy Dwayne is.

Happy #TheRocktober, everybody. Stay punchy my friends.

I love this movie so much, you guys. I can’t understand how you don’t see the great achievement that it was. Granted, Stiffler was an annoying and confusing character and there’s a moment when Christopher Walken is talking about how the tooth fairy crept in his window and it always (yes, I’ve watched this movie many times, on purpose) totally sounds like he says the tooth fairy “crapped” in his window instead…but I love the crazy random “Scotsman” and the Rock and the jungle and the monkeys and the fast little Brazilian dudes… I love you guys, too, but we’re fighting right now. I’m sure we’ll be fine again after I listen to the Scorpion King podcast because that movie was abysmal.
