Look, I know the idea of making a movie based on a board game seems like a bad idea, but what if it was actually a bad idea? It’s a bad idea.
I tend to listen to podcasts during two general settings, one of which is grindy video games that don’t require much attention at various points in progress, and would otherwise be much more boring without the entertainment of a podcast. I get a lot more accomplished in the game that way, as well as learninating my brain or at least enjoying the time spent with amusing and/or educational voices in my ears.
The other setting is usually something like sewing and mending, which is actually what I’m doing today while catching up on the backlog that has piled up while I’ve been playing video games that take too much attention to be able to appreciate a podcast at the same time. Today’s project is rescuing a reusable shopping bag, which has lasted me at least a decade and is one of those thicker insulated bags meant for cold or hot food. I don’t even know if Safeway makes this kind of bag anymore, but a few hours, some thick thread, and good podcasts should hopefully revitalize mister baggy for a good while longer.
