Do you remember being home sick in the 90s? If you do, then you remember a polite rich lady who solved murders up in Maine and wrote about them. Murder, you watched.

Murder, She Wrote ran for over 12 years and is considered one of the most successful shows in the history of television. And for good reason, it’s a fun romp whether you’re old or just old at heart.

I have never been happier to be a potato. This really made my work commute a happy time.

Glad to hear it! In your opinion, did you survive or not?

  3. Steve Sinclair says:

Hrmmmm… Good question. I can only assume that “Mashed” is a higher form of Potato, kind of like Robert Patrick in Terminator 2.

In one episode, while defending a friend accused of murder (nach) Jessica Fletcher is cross-examined by a prosecutor played by Patrick McGoohan. He goes on to recount all of the aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews of Fletcher who have been accused of–and are of course proven innocent–murder. It’s a funny meta-moment in the show, and McGoohan’s uses that show that Fletcher comes from a family of psychopaths.
